This program, dedicated to the theme of our unity with nature and celebrating our now fragile planet home, features Dave Brubeck's composition for choir and jazz ensemble, as well as the powerful, evocative works by current New Zealand composers David Hamilton ("The Moon is Silently Singing") and David Griffiths ("Island Landscapes"). Other selections will include the lyrical "Earthsongs" by Ronald Perrera and works by Elgar, Finney, Paulus and Britten among others.
