Charis performs: O Lovely Light Seasonal music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods

This Program features a selection of traditional English Carols including "Lo How a Rose 'er Blooming" and "The Coventry Carol" (Lullay thou Little Tiny Child) as well as Charpentier "Messe de Minuit pour Noel", Victoria "O Magnum Mysterium", Bach "O Jesulein Suss, O Jesulein Mild", "In Dulci Jubilo" and other works by Handl, Purcell, Praetorius, Sweelinck and Weelkes performed with Baroque instrumental ensemble including recorders, lute and strings.

Note to Singers:
Charis is seeking experienced singers for the 2005-2006 season. All voice parts. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7-10pm in Katonah (2 blocks from the Metro North station). Please call 914-931-6575 to schedule an Audition.
